Today, we discussed how to "build" an economy for one's country. I gave an example on the board, and we worked on two examples on a hand-out.
Due tomorrow, Wednesday, February 13 is the following:
"What goods are produced/manufactured in your country? What are the revenues for your goods?" You need to list at least four items produced/manufactured in your country. It just need to be a list, and can look like this:
Cat Nip 50,000 lbs x $2.00 lb = $100,000
Cat Toys 100,000 x $3.00 each = $300,000
Litter Box 500,000 x $5.00 each = $2,500,000
Cat Litter 2,000,000 lb x $1.00 lb = $2,000,000
This will provide the Goods portion of your GDP. Tomorrow we will discuss the "Services" portion of your country's GDP!
Thanks,
Cathy
